Message from the Chairman
Aruna Foreign Employment Agency was established in the year 1993.
At the very inception of our company, we were able to register it in the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment under License No. 1074 and later under the License No. 2309. We have been working very closely with all the authorities concerned and carried out our obligations specially according to the standards set by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.
We are one of the reputed companies who provide manpower services to foreign countries. Our main objective and commitment is not only to get monetary gains but to render a high quality service to our valued clients and the host countries. My experience gained in the Government Service specially in the correctional field as a Chief Probation Officer, had been enormously helped me to understand the value of young people’s potential and how to direct them in the correct path by understanding the problems they encounter.
Among the South Asian countries Sri Lanka has the highest literacy rate and most of the young people posses at least General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level), (An Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations annually) We have been catering to those who cannot find employment in Sri Lanka in spite of the necessary qualifications they had. We were able to find suitable employment for these people with the help of reputed Foreign employment Companies to ease the unemployment problem of our country. The success rates that we gained were not possible if not for the dedication of my staff and the my valuable counterparts in the host countries.

Message from the Managing Director
It is gives me great pleasure to remind the time when I joined Aruna Foreign Employment Agency, after my retirement from the government service in 1999. The experience that I gained as a Family Counsellor, as a Mediator, trainer and coordinating officer, to the Ministry of Justice in Sri Lanka had been of immense use, in understanding handling and managing human resources to get the full use of the young people to our country.
We have a huge number of skilled, semi skilled and unskilled work force that can be tapped to get the maximum benefit to our country and as well as to the foreign countries that they serve.
We were given the opportunity to conduct a Training Center to train Cyprus, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong (male, female) House Keepers. This was done in collaboration with the Bureau of Foreign Employment and we conducted 267 Training Programs until the Bureau took over the whole Training section under them as a Government policy. Training programs we conducted had been one of the cornerstones of our institution.
A formalized carrier development process was in place in order to support the carrier aspirations of the persons and fulfill the needs and expectations of the employers in the foreign countries.
We have been receiving our clients from Technical Colleges and other skill development centers for deployment, and maintained close relationship with these institutions in order to get the right candidate to fulfill the needs of our counterparts in the host countries.
The success that we accomplished so far would not have been possible, if not for the dedication, commitment and co-operation extended to us by our employees and most valuable business partners in foreign countries that we co-operate. Our company remains confident of ensuring a fair return to all persons concerned in the years to come.
